Following an unpleasant experience with a home designer as we were trying to build a house, I became convinced that I wanted to purchase a factory built home. My husband was against it.
After many debates, he finally said I could do it if I could find a factory built home with six-inch exterior walls, solid flooring, Hardy plank siding, and one that really looked like a home. I think he was convinced no such factory built home existed.
“So I set out and began my search. I went to Ohio, California, Utah, Florida and all places in between but found nothing. Then one day, I took a trip to Colorado for some personal business. Later that day, I took members of my family to see the home. They loved it too! In Denver, I saw more Karstens, and I was convinced, this was the home for us.
